PP Hot Gas Welding
PP 材料热气焊接
Process reference

PP sheet, profiles, pipes can be welded by hot gas. In order to obtain the best weld strength, the quality of the strip is particularly important, and it is also crucial to master the welding temperature, speed, Angle, etc. :
☆ Typical hot air temperature is 350 degrees. The typical hot gas temperature of semi-crystalline materials is 80 degrees to 100 degrees above the melting point;
☆ PP pipe hot melt socket, butt welding, due consideration of the ambient temperature, hot head or hot plate temperature is generally adjusted between 210-250 degrees;
☆ The moving speed of the welding tool is usually 0.1 to 0.3m/min, and the welding torch can be moved along the connecting shaft in the form of a pendulum to obtain a better effect of F(1.5-2 kg);
☆ The Angle between the electrode and the welding part should be close to 90°;
☆ Typical gas flow rates range from 16-60 L/min;
☆ Welded parts must be dry and clean, no dust, grease and other stains;
☆ The edge of the part should be chamfered before welding, or the two parts form a corner;
☆ If conditions permit, use the appropriate clamp to ensure its correct position and solid welding;
☆ Welding tools modified with special electrode drags or rollers can improve welding speed and quality by increasing the control of welding pressure.
